I say good riddance. Let me add more to the type of guy Specter is.
I’m from Penna., and during the immigration debate the last couple of years I tried calling his office and guess what? You could never get through or there was no answer. It shows you what he thinks of his constituents. He couldn’t give a dam about you! If any Democrat votes for this jerk, they get what they deserve. You can have him.
Pat Toomey is an upstanding guy and would make a great replacement.
Specter is proof that even Republicans can sell out their country’s future for self preservation. Toomey is a good guy. I hope he cleans house.
Have you heard the latest from this boob’s mouth? In not so many words he blames the Republicans for Jack Kemp’s death from cancer. Somehow Specter has become a medical expert and he says with more money being given to cancer research, Kemp’s cancer would have been cured, the Republicans resisted this.
Of course there’s no sense looking at the fact that funding for the National Cancer Insitiute has consistently been raised over the years and it’s presently around 5 billion.
I suggest we raise the funding for mental illness so that Specter can be cured.
I hope he keeps talking, more votes for Toomey!
