Astroturf Doesn’t Need Water & ACORNs Won’t Grow In It

in Government, Healthcare

As my good buddy Captain Capitalism said (beating me to this planned post), health care protestors of both parties don’t need organizations to bus them in to get motivated to protest. They don’t need government funding to exist either.

These protestors know weeds when they see them, and are as real as it gets.

Just think; who is paying congressional salaries? Is it ACORN? How about SEIU? No, citizen protestors pay the salaries of congress, which congress then dished off to finance ACORN and SEIU, and their self-serving healthcare support. If there exists any political astroturfing, it’s congress, ACORN and SEIU with their astroturf misrepresentation of facts.

Real representatives earn their $170,000 salaries. Real representatives don’t have snot-nose interns answering their phones, and staff member doing all their work and reading all their bills. Real representatives don’t work 2 days a week. Real representatives don’t push for card check to strip their members of their right to a private vote.

When grass is unable to flourish on it’s own, astroturf steps in to take its place. Congress, ACORN and SEIU are like weed-filled grass that needs constant care from the public coffer just to stay alive long enough for their next infusion.

They’re an inferior mimic of genuine astroturf healthcare protestors.

They’re just too stupid to realize that calling citizen protestors “astroturf” is a compliment.
