I try to spend one weekend each month visiting my five grandchildren, all of who are under four years old.
To each I give a nominal amount of money and instruct them to put it in their piggy bank toward their college tuition. God knows when they go to college nominal will be minimal or worse, considering the legacy of debt that the Obama administration and Democrats have bequeathed.
When I look at my grandchildren I feel a sadness because in this year, 2009, our government is spending all the monies of their future to bail out failed corporations such as Chrysler and General Motors.
I suppose it only fitting that when they reach adulthood, say the year 2035, the only cars they will be able to afford is the defunct 2009 Chryslers or Chevys.
