In 1945 President Harry S. Truman said, “The buck stops here.” He was, of course, speaking of the buck of responsibility, not the buck as in “dollar,” like the two trillion of them given away by the Obama administration.
During the Presidential election cycle Obama proclaimed, “The buck will stop with me,’ speaking of the same buck as Harry Truman. But now it seems that Mr. Obama is ducking the buck. That buck, and the buck of blame, he perpetually places squarely at the feet of George Bush. The buck, in terms of dollars, seems to be a non-quantifiable entity in Obama’s world.
About 160-billion bucks of the trillions just given away were given to AIG that just gave it’s top execs hundreds of millions of buck in bonuses. With this, everyone is up in arms saying that it’s our tax bucks that these shills are stealing.
But whose tax bucks are these execs taking?
If an exec from AIG gets millions of bucks for a bonus, than that would put that exec in the 1% or 2% bracket who pay 80% of all the tax bucks. In my way of thinking they are just getting some of their money back.
In all, the buck will never stop with President Obama, and the American people just keep getting bucked.
