My Grandmother who taught school here in Oklahoma for much of the past century made the observation that it was a proven fact that the emigration of Okies to California during the ‘Dust Bowl’ raised the average I. Q. of both states. I do not think she was joking…
So what happens to our I.Q. levels now?

Not sure, but you should check out some of Steve Sailor’s writings on this subject. Here’s an example ( http://www.vdare.com/sailer/070903_flynn.htm ).

In general, I would say the Teacher’s Union and the dumbing down of educational standards have hurt IQ—or at least the ability of children to realize their natural talents.
