Declaration of Dependence

A few years ago a family moved from my neighborhood and abandoned their cat to forage for herself. I took the cat in, filled up a bowl with Kit-&-Kaboodle and gave her a warm place to sleep.

For the next five months I was the cats favorite person, her love, her master as she weaved between my feet, following me everywhere with a very audible purrrrr.

Saddly,  the prior owner  sneakily, came to my house and kitty-napped the cat from the steps at my back door, taking her several miles distant to their new house.

Shortly after, a friend told me that she saw the cat many times sitting on the steps of the prior owner’s home licking herself clean and just enjoying the life of a content cat.

The moral of the story is that cats loyalties lie with whom ever fills their bowls with Kit-&-Kaboodle.

That’s the sum of liberal ideology. If they fill the peoples bowls with Kaboodles of entitlements, the people will stay loyal to them. Unlike the cat, it didn’t work for the Republicans when they had charge of the bowl.

Expectantly, in his upcoming state of the union populace speech, Obama will pledge filling untold bowls with Kaboodles of entitlements saying the expense of which will come from the wealthy, unscrupulous banks and fat cats. Who ever believes this hasn’t looked at their pay stubs on the lines that read, “Fed tax, State tax, FICA and Miscellaneous.

Unknowing to most, the teleprompter will be spelling the subliminal words, “Change,” and the “Transformation of America.” Which reminds me, here’s a passage from the Declaration of Independence for Obama.

“Prudence, indeed, will dictate that governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security.

Obama’s goal is to transform America into a state of dependent people, thereby making the Declaration of Independence  the Declaration of Dependence.
