Chris Wallace interviewed Rush Limbaugh on Fox News today, November 1, 2009, and asked his opinion about Obama and the Democrats health care bill. Mr. Limbaugh stated that the bill wasn’t at all about health care, but instead it was about the Federal Government taking control of one sixth of the country’s economy and regulating every facet of human behavior , therein snatching away much of our freedom.

You can be sure Rush speaks the truth, because big government already regulates much of human behavior in the name of health care. For instance;

State regulations requiring the wearing of helmets while riding motorcycles isn’t primarily for safety, instead, to be without is considered a health hazard that drives up the cost of health care.

Smoking is banned in most places and in some places in your own house, because of it’s cost to health care.

Seat belt laws are related to health care cost and so is the requirement for manufactures to install air bags in new cars.

Now they are proposing a ban on texting while driving, not because you may run over a crossing guard at a local grade school, or cause a head-on collision, but because AMA considers texting while driving a health hazard.

It’s all coming to a theater near you.
