Evolutionary Mutation is Godly

The difference between Atheists and religious folk is simple.

Religious folks ask the question, “Why am I here?” They choose to connect and get closer to their creator. They cherish their uniqueness and dominance in the world and thank God for the abilities He’s given.

Atheists ask the question, “Why am I here?” But, they choose to disconnect and distance themselves from their creator. They downplay their own uniqueness and dominance in the world, and give credit for any special ability they have to evolutionary mutation.

But, they fail to ask, “Isn’t mutation itself an amazing creation?”

They never seem to ask, “What created mutation? Did mutation mutate or did God create such an amazing entity?”

To religious folks, that which makes all things possible is amazing. To the Atheists, that which makes all things possible (mutation) is just another random happenstance. There seems to be no feeling or joy in embracing this mutant god.

Logically though, which group will end up happier? Someone trying to prove their worth and relevance? Or someone trying to disprove their worth and relevance?

I think on this Easter, I’m going to go with the religious folks and thank God, not some million-year-old mutation, for all that I have. Besides, I don’t think I’d want a “Mutation is my copilot” bumper sticker.

With God I can belive in a higher power. If I don’t belive in god there is no higher power and even thought some idiots belive we stated as a fish still can not explane where the fish came from or the water or trees.

Simon,

I like to make fun of stuff. I like to joke. I like to make something that is boring interesting. It wasn’t meant to be so enlightened that I’m trying to compete with the greats dude!

Lighten up. Smile on occasion. Life is short. Enjoy it as much as I like to write stuff like this.
