Clearly these four police officers, wearing bulletproof vests, enjoying some coffee, and figuring out how they were going to make Seattle safer acted stupidly in some fashion to get themselves killed.
The suspect is stated to be a black male of scruffy appearance. Clearly, these cops listened to Eric Holders’ “white-people-are-not-covered-under-the-new-hate-crime-law-because-in-the-past-they-were-haters” mantra and didn’t profile this poor, murderous perp as he walked in. Diversity training took care of that advantage well in advance of this.
Just think if they did profile this man, thus giving them split seconds to prepare. They would have been labeled stupid actors who jumped to conclusions about a scruffy looking black man that was probably a university professor looking for a beer buddy. “This innocent black man was not aiming at the cops. He was aiming at their energy-wasting laptops with their environment-killing batteries made in job-stealing Chinese plants instead of in urban centers,” Obama voters would shout.
In all seriousness, RIP officers. Rot in hell murderer!
