Yes, liberals are Democrats, and yes they hate evil, gun-toting Republicans with a passion, but voting for a black man simply pushes their self-righteous enlightenment to the brink.
"Why couldn't Hillary just have won," they surely plead in private. Now they have to put up with their vote, or shut the hell up forever.
I can't count the amount of times I've heard liberals debase conservatives and Republicans for their apparent Neanderthal mindsets. If it's not the condescending tones, or the eye rolls, it's the 6th sense one gets of how liberals perceive conservatives that gives their self-satisfying judgments of us away.
But, most liberals are tightlipped about who they are actually going to vote for. Most simple will not discuss who will get their vote. They give every indication that McCain is an evil agent of Big Oil and the Military Industrial Complex, and that they'd rather starve (or ruin the environment) before casting a vote for him, but they fall short of "coming out" and saying Obama is their man.
And, these same liberals won't dare send their kids to schools where a majority students look like Obama either. Most didn't grow up around lower income black folks like I did, and although they'll allow only the right kind and amount of diversity immersion for their kids, they will never be as open minded about race as us knuckle-dragging conservatives. Why? Because we don't fear highlighting negatives of black folks (God forbid someone mention that black folks, just like every other type and color of folks, have faults).
Besides, we don't dislike Obama because he's black; we dislike him for his Marxist ideology.
It's the same with guns; we conservatives know that guns can be both good and bad, but we don't let fear immobilize us (like it does liberals) into believing that guns are all bad and therefore must be avoided. It is what it is, and courage is what it takes to address both issues head on.
So, whether or not Obama wins, he is truly an intriguing investigation into liberals. Will they vote or him, will they not. Will they tell, or is mums the word?

Know BS When You Hear It

Liberals have been complaining for years about the cost of the Iraq war. They say billion of dollars are being wasted each month on an ill conceived war, as if money were more important than defeating an enemy whose fondest wish is to destroy America. For this purpose, they have wanted, for some time, to surrender and bring our troops home.
They want everyone to think that bringing our troops home would save all these billions of dollars each month, as if having the troops home means that they don't get paid or fed and the equipment they need doesn't have to be maintained.
However, the troops do have to get paid and eat and their equipment does have to be maintained, which means their's but a slight difference in the amount of money spent by the troops being here or there.
Another misleading fact-challenged notion put forth by liberals is the enormous amount of jobs that will be created by developing alternative energy systems that are supposed to wean America off oil in the next ten years.
As of now there are about three-hundred-thousand workers in the U.S. who extract oil from the ground, not to mention the millions who service the oil industry, not to mention the clerks at the service stations who sell Slurpees and over-cooked hot dogs.
In all, these scenarios result in a net loose of jobs and security. So listen very carefully in the presence of Liberals BS.
