Discretionary Government

The chart above indicated that America is on an out-of-control, spending train wreck.
Mandatory spending on social services like Medicaid and Social Security is taking up an unbelievable 58% of the U.S. budget – which is at an astounding 2.5 trillion dollars, already way to high.
Discretionary spending is what our government spends money on after mandatory spending is finished sucking.
And if you look at the time span of the chart, you will see that it covers 42 years. In that time no matter if Democrats or Republicans controlled the White House, or Congress or both, it did nothing to stop an out of control spending spree at the expense of Johnny Public.
So, pundits argue over who is better, Barack or McCain. I would simple ask, "Does it matter?" Will this chart change in the next 4 years? At best, we could argue that McCain will allows us an additional few years before America goes bankrupt.
Neither candidate will reverse this trend. Neither candidate will touch Social Security or Medicaid. And BOTH candidates want to legalize an estimated 40 million illegal aliens making our situation even worse.
If I'm voting in this election, I'm voting to throw all these bums out and start over.

He Was For English Before He Was Against It

Being the elite, chin in the air, academic that he is, H. Obama said that he is embarrassed that Americans are not bilingual. He said that Americans, (87% of us) who want English to be America's official language are, "Complaining and complaining that we, (87% of us) want English to be the 'Only' language spoken in America."
Factually, the 87% of Americans who want English to be our National language never said we wanted it to be the "Only" language spoken, but he knows that. H. Obama electively dribbles with Freudian tongue seizures.
When we decided that the American Bald Eagle was to be our national symbol, we didn't say there could be no other birds. And how dare him to say that, "We should not worry about immigrants speaking English, instead we should teach our children to speak Spanish."
English is the verbal symbol of our sovereignty just as the eagle is the iconic symbol of our sovereignty, but that hasn't occurred to H. Obama.
In his quest for the Spanish vote, sovereignty doesn't fit in with "Change" for America, but it appears a Spanish speaking America does.
