Beware of the T. Boone Pickens, NAFTA Super Highway, Trojan Horse Plan

On the surface T. Boone Pickens is a patriotic savior drawing attention to how dangerous transferring $700 billion each year to foreign nations for their oil is to America's financial future. Dig deeper though, and Pickens is nothing more than a clever globalist exploiting high gas prices and people's fears for his own hidden agenda.
What exactly was it that caused America to depend so heavily, and for so long, on foreign nations for its oil? Answer: the same thing that caused America to be dependent on foreigners for just about every consumable item - globalists like Pickens who wanted cheap labor and lax regulations to increase profit margins (under the euphemism of "free trade" of course).
Pickens had over twenty years to gain a conscious. Only after a messy divorce, a fallout with his Mesa Petroleum company, the realization that oil is dwindling around the world, and a newfound appreciation for the power of water did he sound the "America First" alarm.
You see, Pickens has a ranch in Texas. Water utilities were buying up rights to ground water all around him. This was an epiphany for Pickens. He saw his new oil in the buying and selling of ground water to the highest bidder.
But there was a problem.
Nobody would buy his water. So, what's a former oil company raider like Pickens to do? Answer: He made up his mind he would sell his water to other localities that are expecting population growths of up to 40% by 2020. And where will this growth is going to come from? Pickens knows it will come primarily from illegal immigration but he doesn't care.
And there was another problem.
He needed to build a pipeline to transport his water, but without using eminent domain it would cost too much. The only entities that have eminent domain powers are water utilities. So, what's a former oil company raider like Pickens to do? Answer: he gets his lobbyists to sneak in a provision to a Texas bill that allowed a water-supply district to transmit alternative energy and transport water in a single corridor. Since wind farms are a big money maker, Pickens decided he'd piggyback wind power with his water power grab and wrap it all up inside of an eventual "Save America" marketing package.
In 2007 Pickens sold some of his land to people who worked for him, formed a water-supply district (since he now qualified), and began telling private land owners along his pipeline route that they would either have to sell their land for what was offered or have it taken from them by force.
Long story short, Pickens plans to sell wind generated power and drinking water to the highest bidders, and any private citizens or private property rights that get in the way will simply be removed from the equation.
As sure as hell is hot, Pickens will eventually sell his wind farms and drinking water companies to the highest bidders. Most likely the highest bidders will be foreign companies that have – according to Pickens own words – benefited from the biggest transfer of wealth in human history. These foreign companies will then impose premiums on American citizens dependent on those commodities.
And what's even scarier is the fact that Pickens plan shows the eventual wind farm corridor being in the same location as the proposed NAFTA Super Highway.
Pickens says America needs to switch to natural gas and wind power. He knows a massive pipeline must transport this power, and he's fully aware of the Super Highway proposal to do just that. Heck, he supported Rudy Giuliani who had a law firm called Bracewell & Giuliani that represents Cintra Concessions, the main company that wants the NAFTA Super Highway built. Once this Spain-based company gets their wishes, they will impose high tolls on citizens dependent on this new transportation system.
In the end, wind and solar power is a great compliment of oil for America’s future and I commend Pickens for bringing this issue to the forefront. It's too bad, though, that an unscrupulous businessman and not-so-friendly foreign governments/companies beat the American government to the idea.
Ironically, after the Super Highway and Pickens power pipelines are built, America will no longer depend on foreign lands for their oil. They will depend on domestic renewable power, all controlled by the same foreigners we're indebted to now.

Obama Gets A Merit Badge In Foreign Policy

It seems that H. Obama is touring Europe and the Far East this week. If he's smart he will return from his "fact finding tour" and declare that he was wrong about bringing the troops home in 16 months. Instead, he will bring them home in less then 16. Of course he'll declare this in front of his traveling buddies, ABC, CBS and NBC, who will stop giving him a hand job long enough to put both hands to their mouths and cheer, cheer, cheer until they wet themselves.
His first photo op was in Afghanistan from where he once stated he would unilaterally bomb Pakistan, a sovereign nation, in a willy-nilly maneuver to catch nemesis H. Osama Bin Laden. This would naturally be followed by a total fairy tale defeat of the Taliban in all of Afghanistan.
The question is; "Is H. Obama aware that the entire Russian army couldn't beat the northern Afghan tribes? So how does he propose doing this when he and other Democrat fools have told the rest of the world that our military is stretched to the limit with only 150 thousand troops in Iraq?
Think of it. One trip abroad qualifies the average Boy Scout to be President of the United States.
At home, H. Obama and other Democrat fools are against America drilling for oil on the continental shelves and in Alaska. They consistently say that it would take ten or twenty years for us to get oil from these places. For Christ's sake! The massive bridge that collapsed in Minnesota last year has been rebuilt already, so don't tell me experienced oil companies can't get oil out of the ground in a shorter time than that. Besides, "It's for our children." Remember?
Instead of drilling Democrats want to wait until we've invented or perfected other sources of energy such as hydrogen fuel cells, bios and wind power. They talk as though these sources can be readily available at the local convenience store in the next day or two.
I can just see folks driving on the freeway with massive sails sticking out of the top of their cars. This hybrid car could be advertised as the "hy-bird" car that can go from 0 to 165 mph in one second...in a category 5 hurricane or an F5 tornado.
But say! I have an idea for these "we can't drill our way out of this" obstructionist fools.
Let's try this. Do you know how some companies have "bring your kid to work day?" Well, Congress should have a constituent week. This would be where congressmen and senators would randomly pick a constituent each from their home state to go to Washington D.C. with them and take over their jobs for a week.
I'm betting more would be accomplished in that one week than the fixed fogies can accomplish in four years.
