To be transparent is to be easily seen through with no distortion. President Obama promised that his administration would have transparency unequaled in American history. As far as his cabinet is concerned he has kept his promise.
As I noted in issue 324 most of his cabinet choices have dirt under their finger nails and skeletons in their closets.
Most recently, Obama has picked Tom Daschle for Secretary of Health, he who has just been caught for not paying well over $100,000 in federal taxes. Like all other cabinet choices, it is transparently clear that he is also an unscrupulous crook.
Now Obama wants to pick Republican Senator Judd Gregg of New Hampshire to be Secretary of Commerce, a position as important as a captain is on a one man kayak. If this comes to fruition the governor of New Hampshire is sure to pick a Democrat to replace him, giving Democrats a filibuster proof Senate. This political maneuver is in keeping with the transparence promise. To whoever this is not transparent must be suffering from visual stupidity.

Sadly, I am in complete agreement with you. One would have to be blind, deaf, and dumb + living in a cave in the outback to be unaware of what Obama and his cohorts are up to.
