Just think of what an incredible feat it was for the Unites States to successfully send a space ship to Mars. The distance there is a million miles or so and it took many months to complete the journey.
To start with, scientist had to know the mass of the planet, the gravitational pull, the density and make up of the atmosphere and a thousand other bit of data in order for the space vehicle to make it there land deploy a package by parachute. At a certain altitude the package jettisoned the parachute, fell hundreds of feet to the ground where it bounced to a stand still. Then the package opened up and a small robotic car, loaded with instruments, rolled down a ramp and started to roam around the planet, picking up stones, analyzing them and sending the results back to earth.
Each command the scientist gave took hours to reach the robot on Mars as did the pictures sent back by the robot to earth. Even though the scientist couldn’t see the robot itself, they still controled it with deadly precision.
And yet, we still aren’t able to close a little oil leak a couple thousand feet below the ocean floor. Incredible.
What a shame. Gen. Stanley A. McChrystal, a man who has spent his entire life serving his country, has just had his career ruined by the nitwit in the White House who’s total military experience includes recently being taught how to return a salute.

In Florida, during the Gore/Bush election for President, Democrats wore the word “Disenfranchised,” completely out. The reason was because most people there were confused as to how to pull a lever in the voting booth.
Now, Bill Clinton and Obama feel its their privilege to pick who is running for political office in Pennsylvania and Colorado, thereby, ”Disenfranchising the voters of those areas of the privilege of voting for their choice.
Where are the Republicans yelling, “Disenfranchised?”
Eric (The Boob) Holder gave a speech the other day in which he told of all the nasty things his office was going to do to BP. In it he said, “The environmental laws are very clear and we have the responsibility to enforce them.” He also said, “We will prosecute to the fullest extent of the law anyone who has violated the law.”
Why doesn’t the same apply to the immigration laws. Why doesn’t Eric Holder say, “The immigration laws are very clear and we have the responsibility to enforce them.” And then, “We will prosecute to the fullest extent of the law anyone who has violated the law.”

So Obama’s daughter walked into his bathroom while he was shaving and asked, Did you plug the hole in the border yet Daddy?
Open borders, non-sovereignty nuts blame Americans for the drug problems on the American/Mexican border. They say if there wasn’t a demand for drugs by Americans then there wouldn’t be drug wars along the border states.
I guess if it were one of the Mexican oil well that exploded instead of BP’s they would be saying it’s America’s fault for having a demand for oil in the first place.
How will the 1200 guardsmen know that the people they see crossing the border are not lost Latino tourists from non-border states just trying to check out the border region between Mexico and America?
How will they know the difference between bird-watchers, hikers, and illegal aliens?
