The “Pay to play,” style of Chicago politics involving Rod Blagojevich and Roland Burris was child’s play compared to the pay to play, or rather, pay to work scheme that’s taking place between the AFL-CIO, the Obama Administration and the Democrats on Capitol Hill.
It’s no secret that labor unions have stuffed tons of money in the pockets of Democrats who will, with socialistic glee, reciprocate (pay to play) by passing favorable laws for unions.
Indeed, one such reciprocation will be to pass the “Card Check” scheme. This would allow union members to openly solicit/intimidate workers into joining their union and demonize voting by secret ballot.
As a precursor, Vice President Joe Biden held a secret meeting with AFL-CIO bosses at the Fontainbleau, a luxury beach resort in Miami Florida that recently had a billion dollar renovation by union labor. This secret meeting clearly illustrates a bias against non-union labor and blankets transparency into opaqueness.
Thereupon, Obama, who is giddy over unions, declares that, “Unions are not the problem with our bad economy, instead, they are the solution,” and promises to create 3.5 million new jobs. Considering all this, it’s transparently clear that in his eagerness to repay unions for their contributions and support, the 3.5 million jobs will be earmarked for union workers.
One aspect of the “Pay to play/ Pay to work” schemes involving the Democrats, the Obama administration and the AFL-CIO is illustrated below:
