When Time Magazine determined it was okay to portray OJ Simpson as a ruthless killer, what did they do? They made OJ look…well…blacker:

When Time Magazine determined it was necessary to help put Obama in the White House, what did they do? They made Obama look, well…whiter:

When Time Magazine determined that Sonia Sotomayor was to be the first dent to the white judicial power structure, what did they do? They went with a painting that made Sotomayor look…well…like a Haitian instead of a Puerto Rican:

(I exaggerate, but you get my point.)

To me, it looks like Time darkened the shadows, and “browned up” the face  from the artist’s rendition (which, itself, was too dark) below (see under the neck specifically):

What is it with liberals and their obsession with race?

Lady Justice has a blind fold so race doesn’t play a role in interpreting the law.

It’s sad that Time Magazine wants us to concentrate primarily on the “color” of Sotomayor and then wonders “Will Sotomayor Change the Court?”. Sure, she sees in color so she’ll change the court, and Time Magazine will continue trying to change America, one Photoshop touch-up at a time.
